Hare Krishna ISKCON Temple Sydney is one of the ISKCON’s temples in Australia. The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) is a worldwide association of devotees of Krsna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead. God is known by many names, according to His different qualities and activities. In the Bible he is know as Jehovah (“the almighty one”), in the Koran as Allah (“the great one”), and in the Bhagavad-gita as Krsna, a Sanskrit name meaning “the all-attractive one.” Hare Krishna ISKCON Temple Sydney is the ISKCON temples.
Every week about 20 children attend the Hare Krishna Temple’s Sunday school program from 5pm to 6.45pm where Krishna is the centre of all the activities. The children learn more about spiritual values and practices whilst engaging in class activities that include stories, quizzes, games, drama, movies, arts & craft. After each class the children take dinner Prasadam together.
The temple Serves, Vegetarian food, free of cost to all the visitors two times a day at 12:30pm and 5:30pm. This is based on thier phylosophy to distributeFree Prasadum (Remnants of the food offered to the Lord Krishna and Radha). The temple have special Feast served on Saturday, Sunday and some other festivals, which has more variety of dishes. The cost of the feast is $8 per person.
Hare Krishna ISKCON Temple Sydney is a Christian church situated in North Sydney. Churches believe the entirety of the Word of God and worship the Living God, Jesus Christ, in Spirit and truth. Church Services are noted for their anointed preaching and teaching and the signs and wonders that accompany them.
