Strathcona Baptist Girls Grammar School

Church Find welcomes Strathcona Baptist Girls Grammar School in Canterbury, who are engaged in a revitalisation journey enriching the community, for all their latest times and information including times.

Strathcona is an independent school, co-ed in Early Learning Centre and girls from Prep to Year 12. The School recognises and encourages the qualities required for tomorrow’s leaders – competence, confidence and compassion.

Since its establishment in 1924, the School’s sense of community and quality of care have been constantly demonstrated. Each student is encouraged to achieve her personal best.

Academically the VCE results are outstanding. The School has three campuses with students spending Year 9 at beautiful Tay Creggan on the Yarra River in Hawthorn. A purpose-built Junior School opened in 2005 in close proximity to the Senior Campus in Canterbury. The students enjoy first class facilities at all three campuses. There is a comprehensive co-curricular program including music, sport, drama, dance and public speaking.

All three campuses are well serviced by train, bus and tram.
