Green Point Baptist Church has always had a passion for declaring the gospel to our community, and for being innovative in doing so.

From back in the 50’s through a boat equipped with loudspeakers cruising Davistown waterfront, to the 80’s through the creation of Green Point Christian College and involvement in church planting, we have a history of committing ourselves to breaking new ground to reach others with the gospel of Christ. This commitment continues today just as strongly, to be a pioneering church bringing the hope and love of God to the Coast. We’d love it if you would like to join us as we keep the tradition going!

We are also committed to global mission – with present involvements in China, Africa, Tonga, Hong Kong and the Middle East.

Our church buildings are nestled in the beautiful mountains of Green Point, and are equipped for all ages to discover and grow in knowledge of God together.

The Worship Centre, built in 1972, has been fully refurbished inside, and is equipped with comfortable seating for around 300 people, is air-conditioned and utilises all modern sound & visual equipment.
